1 Kings 14:9 — …and hast cast me behind thy back.
Ezekiel 43:15-16 — And the altar hearth (Ariel) is four cubits high.
Ezekiel 43:18 — These are the regulations for the altar… for offering burnt offerings and sprinkling blood.
- Nehemia:Gav — you can spell it with a vav or you can spell it with a soft bet, and it means exactly the same thing. That proves that at least some of the people in Israel pronounced vav as V.
- Keith:What I find frustrating is — we don’t use the Bible as the Bible. We don’t open it up and ask what it means for yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
- Nehemia:The altar is called the Ariel — the Lion of God. Jerusalem and the altar share the same name, a connection completely lost in the English translation.
